Additional conditions for Registered Users
East GB Ltd hereby grants each registered user a limited, non-exclusive, non-sub-licensable and non-transferable license to access the content and information available in login areas of website according to the provisions contained herein, and subject to the payment of the applicable subscription fees.
The Safer Food Handler has product editions that that feature online entry for an accredited Level 2 certificate. The conditions of use are that only one candidate, the registered user can be submitted for the online test and that the test must be sat within the licence life of the product ie within 12 months of the first registration of the product. Upon successful completion of the exam, ie meeting the minimum standard set by Qualifi the examining body, access to the system will cease immediately.
Purchase of a licence allows access to the product for a single individual for 12 months from the date of first registration, or until the exam is completed successfully as described above.
For purchasers located within the UK full standard UK consumer rights apply including compliance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. A 14 day cooling off period, starting from the first day of purchase. All purchasers of the product successful in gaining a refund are required to not access or pass on any content to any third party.
Access to content
We strive to provide access to product on a continuous basis and have invested significant amounts to support this effort. We will make all reasonable efforts to provide uninterrupted access to the website for all registered users. However, from time to time, registered users may be unable to access the website (product) due to conditions beyond our control. Such conditions include, but are not limited to: force majeure, acts of God, power cuts, and the acts of those acting outside the law. Also, from time to time, access may be unavailable due to software issues, server downtime, increased Internet traffic or downtime, programming errors, regular maintenance of the system, and other related reasons. This is intended to be an informative document to support your learning. From time-to-time East GB Ltd (trading as The Safer Food Group) may contact you to discuss product variations that may benefit you in your work/business. As a routine courtesy we will contact you 3 years after your use of the product to remind you that, by law, food handling training currently needs to be renewed every 3 years.
