Frequently asked questions

Can we host your courses on our own LMS?
We have worked with a number of our partners to enable them to host Safer Food Group accredited courses on their own learning management systems. If you’d like to explore this option, please get in touch with info@thesaferfoodgroup.com
Do you develop bespoke training for partners?
We certainly do. If you have an idea for a course, please get in touch! We’ll evaluate your concept together to assess its feasibility and whether we can add value. If it's a great fit for both of us, we will combine your unique sector insights with our food safety and teaching expertise to build a high-quality program. We have already developed sector specific training with Early Years, NHS and Care partners - it’s a really rewarding way to work together.
Do our purchased course codes expire?
Course codes are valid for a full twelve months - this means that they need to be allocated to a learner and registered within the learner’s account within 365 days. The learner then has either 30 days (level 1 and 2 courses) or 90 days (level 3 courses) to complete their studies and pass the exam.
What if an employee leaves before starting?
If the code has not been registered within the employee’s learner account, you can simply allocate it to another employee. If the code has been registered but not started, please give us a call and we’ll take a look at your options.
Can I download everyone's records at once?
Yes - management information is available within your business account, meaning you can keep track of your team’s progress and produce a full EHO-ready report on inspection day.
My team is nervous about starting online training - what should I do?
Let them know that our customer service team is on hand to help. Sometimes a friendly voice on the end of the phone is just enough support to get learners on the right track and feeling confident.

Card/online payments

Pay securely using your business debit / credit card, Apple or Google Pay. Courses will be available immediately after payment is made.


Invoice/BACS

Download an invoice to pay via BACs; courses will be released as soon as payment has cleared or your credit account authorised. Invoice correspondence can be directed to your finance department contact if required.

Credit terms - 30 days on approval. Please contact us if you would like us to work with your internal purchasing systems to discuss requirements.
